MRS. A. V. COLESON PASSED AWAY EARLY THIS MORNING

Mrs. A. V. COLESON passed away at her home on E Burlington street, this morning at 8:30 o'clock, after a brief serious illness which followed a few weeks of goitre trouble.

Mrs. COLESON is well remembered by the people of Jefferson county, having made her home just south of Fairfield with her husband and family for 15 years before taking up her residence at the new home in this city.

The husband and children to whom she has been such a dear, good wife and mother, were with her during the illness that preceded her death.

Her husband, Mr. A. V. COLESON, her children, Edyth, Harriet, Bernard, Paul, Ellen, Laurence, Maude and Olive of Fairfield and Emmett of Turtle Lake, Wis., and her sister, Mrs. Chas. CRONE and two brothers, August and John LINDGREN of Wenona, Ill., will be joined in mourning by the host of distant relatives and friends.

Mrs. COLESON went to rest with a staunch heart and a christian faith supported by a membership in the Lutheran church, dating back to her childhood.

Adding patience and sympathy to her natural devotion she was ever a faithful, true wife and mother. It was her strong conviction and sense of duty to her family that filled her years with the exemplary life that will live long in the hearts of all who knew her.

Private funeral services will be held at the home at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 24, and a public service will follow immediately at the Evergreen cemetery, where interment will take place.
