Opal Ann COIL, 70, 204 E. Burlington, died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday at Jefferson County Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church.
Mrs. COIL was born Aug. 22, 1910 near Harlan, the daughter of Edward and Bertha LORENZ. She was reared and educated in and around Harlan. A resident of Fairfield since 1955, she worked as a telephone operator in Harlan and Fairfield for 32 years, retiring five years ago. She married Harvey Nelson COIL in April of 1962 in Fairfield with the Rev. Lee Davis performing the ceremony. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Esther Group.
Surviving are her husband; one brother, Bruce William LORENZ of Harlan; two step-daughters, Ruth KENNY of Marshalltown and Martha BROWNS of La Grande (sic); one stepson, Carl Eugene COIL of Gladbrook and four stepgrandchildren.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF OPAL A. COIL, DECEASED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 3RD DAY OF MARCH, 1981 THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF OPAL A. COIL DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 7TH DAY OF MAY, 1976, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT HOYT V. LUTES WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
