Burial services for Harvey COIL

Burial services were held Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery for Harvey N. COIL, 84, former resident of Fairfield who died July 6 at Gladbrook (note: in Tama Co., IA). Last rites were held Tuesday at Le Grand Friends Church.

Harvey COIL was born Aug. 13, 1901, in Pleasant Plain. He was the son of Levi Marshall and Dora JONES COIL.

He was married to Mildred HOLDER of Marshalltown. They were the parents of Carl COIL, Gladbrook; Ruth KINNY, Marshalltown; and Martha BROWN, Le Grand. Two children are deceased. Other survivors include two brothers, James COIL, Fairfield, and Herman COIL, Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren. Alice DAVIS, Fairfield, is a cousin.

Following the death of his first wife, COIL was married to Opel (sic - Opal) LORENZ, Fairfield. She is deceased. They made their home in Fairfield before moving to Gladbrook.

COIL was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairfield and the Eagles Lodge (sic - Aerie/Club).
