Well Known Fairfield Resident Passed Away This MorningMrs. Rosabelle COFFMAN, wife of H. B. COFFMAN, passed away at her home, 309 west Adams street at 9:30 o'clock this morning after being in failing health for sometime (sic).
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Fred G. Crown and Dr. Gilbert Voorhies. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. COFFMAN was born February 24, 1863 at South Bend, Ind. Mr. and Mrs. COFFMAN just recently celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. G. BURNETT of Birmingham, Ala.; E. E. and D. E. COFFMAN of Des Moines; Mrs. L. D. GRAHAM, Mrs. C. W. STRONG, Miss Esther COFFMAN and J. H. COFFMAN of this city. A twin sister, Mrs. Charles TAYLOR of Ponca City, Okla, and one brother, Charles SHUPART (sic - SHUPERT) of Boyle, Kans. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. One son, James COFFMAN, preceded her in death.

Services in Charge of Rev. Fred G. Crown and Dr. G. VoorhiesFuneral services for Mrs. H. B. COFFMAN were held from the Hoskins Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Fred G. Crown and Dr. Gilbert Voorhies. Mrs. Voorhies accompanied by Mrs. Fred G. Crown sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "Have Thine Own Way."
The many beautiful flowers were cared for by Mrs. F. V. Goodman and Mrs. T. Ruggles. Pallbearers were C. W. Ireland P. J. Easton, Harry Russell, George Hammon and Lawrence J. Roth.
Rosa Belle COFFMAN, the daughter of Eli and Emmaline SHUPERT, was born at South Bend, Indiana February 24, 1863 and passed away at Fairfield, Iowa November 12 1931 at 9:20 p.m.
Mrs. COFFMAN's early years were spent with her family in Indiana, Michigan, Iowa and Kansas. On November 1, 1881 she was united in marriage to Henry Boardman COFFMAN at Atchison, Kansas. On November 1, 1931, the fiftieth anniversary of this wedding was celebrated. To this union were born eight children seven of whom, with the husband survive her.
After several years residence in Kansas and Nebraska, the family moved to Iowa, settling first at Richland and later in Fairfield where they have lived since 1907.
While still a young woman, Mrs. COFFMAN became a member of the Dunkard Church near Richland, Iowa from which her membership had never been transferred.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: Mrs. J. G. BURNETT of Birmingham, Alabama, E. E. COFFMAN and B. E. COFFMAN of Des Moines, Mrs. L. D. GRAHAM, Mrs. C. W. STRONG, J. H. COFFMAN and Esther of Fairfield. One son James S. COFFMAN preceded her in death on January 1931 (sic - Jan. 21, 1931). She also left thirteen living grandchildren one great grandson, a brother Charles B. SHUPERT of Boyle, Kansas and a twin sister Mrs. Charles TAYLOR of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
