CLINKENBEARD Rites Monday

Alice CLINKENBEARD, native of Fairfield and retired school teacher, died at 7:15 a.m. today at the Fairfield Convalescent Home.

Her death followed an extended illness of six years. She had been seriously ill the past week.

Last rites will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Dilley in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Alice CLINKENBEARD, 84, was born July 31, 1886, in Fairfield. She was the daughter of David B. and Mary Jane HAYNES CLINKENBEARD. She was reared and educated in Fairfield and attended Parsons College and Iowa State Teachers College at Iowa Falls.

A member of the Presbyterian Church, she taught in the Fairfield schools for a number of years.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. J. C. FACER, Fairfield; and a brother, Seerley CLINKENBEARD, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
