BOBBY CHRISTENSEN 8 YEARS OLD, DIED

Robert Arthur CHRISTENSEN, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur CHRISTENSEN, 301 East Adams street, died last night at 7 oclock after an illness of one week.

He was born in Chicago and was a pupil in the third grade of Washington school.

The funeral services will take place tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 oclock in the Presbyterian church and will be conducted by Dr. H. Sears Thomson. Burial will be in the Fairfield Abbey.

CHRISTENSEN RITES WERE HELD SUNDAY

Services for Robert Arthur CHRISTENSEN who passed away March 7, after a several day's illness form an attack of croupis pneumenia (sic), were held Sunday, March 9 at the Presbyterian church.

During the services, which were conducted by Dr. H. Sears Thomson, two favorite childhood songs, "Silent Night, Holy Night" and "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam" were played on the organ.

Burial was made in Fairfield Abbey.

Robert Arthur leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. CHRISTENSEN, and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Note: The Fairfield Abbey was a mausoleum which stood in what is now the 6th Addition to Evergreen Cemetery. In the 1960s, structural deterioration of this building made future burials there impossible; those who were interred there were moved to other accomodations and the Abbey was demolished. Robert was moved from the Abbey to Lot 2nd.220½ in Evergreen Cemetery.
