Frank G. CHIDESTER Passed Away, Aged 78 ears (sic); Funeral TuesdayFrank G. CHIDESTER, well known Jefferson county pioneer passed away at his home, 301 West Washington street, early this morning. He had been in failing health for the past year and confined to his home for the last few days.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 5 o'clock from the home, 301 West Washington street, in charge of the Masonic lodge, of which he was a member and Dr. U. S. Smith. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. CHIDESTER was born April 2, 1853 in Mahoning county Ohio. At the age of 13 he came with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clark CHIDESTER, to Jefferson county. September 6, 1873 he was married to Miss Ellen WISECARVER.
Besides his wife he is survivved by four daughters; Mrs. J. J. TEETER of Burlington; Mrs. H. C. FAIR of Fort Wayne, Ind. Mrs. Harry O. CROW and Miss June CHIDESTER of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: S. E. and Ensign CHIDESTER.
