Mrs. C. M. CAYLOR Died in University Hospital FridayMrs. Martha Ellen CAYLOR, 69, passed away in the University hospital at Iowa City yesterday morning (note: in Johnson Co., IA) at 9 o'clock. She had been in poor health for the past three years and in the hospital a month. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Dr. U. S. Smith of the First Methodist church. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. CAYLOR was born August 16, 1862, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William GREESON and at the time of her death resided at Hubbard, Iowa.. She is survived by her husband, C. M. CAYLOR and the following children: Mrs. Hattie SHAFFER of Des Moines, Mrs. Anna J. DROZ of ePoria (sic - Peoria), Ill.; Robert L. NELSON of Mystic, Mrs. Lucy MILES and Mrs. Pearle BARKER, both of Fairfield. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters, Charles GREESON, Mrs. Enid HADLEY and Mrs. Baker HANNAH of Richland; Mrs. Al CASSADY of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; W. E. GREESON of Ottumwa, Dayton GREESON of Freeport, Ill. and A. R. GREESON of Fairfield. Five grandchildren also survive.

MRS. C. M. CAYLOR
Martha Ellen GRESON, daughter of William and Elizabeth GREESON, was born near Richland, Iowa August 16, 1862 and passed away May 8, 1931 at the University hospital at Iowa City at the age of 68 years, eight months and 22 days. Her early life was spent in this vicinity her home being in Hubbard, Iowa during the past 13 years.
She was united in marriage to John O. NELSON, February 3, 1881 and to this union seven children were born, two of whom, Clarence Edgar and Albert Lee and one grandson Willie DROZ, preceded her in death.
On June 10, 1918 at Hubbard she was united in marriage to Charles M. CAYLOR, by whom she is survived also the following children: Hattie U. SHAFER of Des Moines, Anna J. DROZ of Peoria, Ill.; Robert L. NELSON of Mystic and Alma Pearl BARKER and Lucy MILES, both of Fairfield. Five grandchildren three sisters four brothers and a host of relative and friends. Also a step-son, Roy CAYLOR of Los Angeles, Calif.
She was of a kind and loving disposition, a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed in her home and by those who knew her best. She was united with the Methodist church at Center, in Blackhawk township, in early girlhood and remained faithful having undying faith in her redeemer.
The funeral services were held from the Hoskins Funeral home Monday afternoon, May 11, at 4 o'clock, Rev. U. S. Smith officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery. The pallbearers were Stanley Brewington, Charles Goodell, Merle Baker, William DROZ, John E. Winter and George MILES.
