DEATH CLAIMS MRS. CARLSON

Mrs. F. O. CARLSON, 76, who came to Fairfield from Sweden when she was a small child, passed away this morning at her home, 506 East Burlington street. Death came at 3:30 a.m.

Mrs. CARLSON had been in failing health for the past several years, and suffered a stroke Wednesday.

Last rites will be Sumnday at 2:30 p.m. at the Monger funeral home with Dr. E. A. Piper in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Selma Alvida CARLSON was born October 17, 1872, in Sweden, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew SWANSON. She came to Fairfield when six years of age(.)

When a young girl she moved to Ottumwa where she made her home until 1940 when she returned to Fairfield. Mrs. CARLSON is a member of he Lutheran church in Fairfield.

She was united in marriage to F. O. CARLSON who passed away in 1941.

Mrs. CARLSON is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Albert PETERSON, Fairfield; a son, Rickard W. CARLSON, Davenport; a brother, Al SWANSON who resides in Wisconsin; one granddaughter, one grandson, and two great granddaughters.
