CARLSON Rites Will Be Monday

Oliver L. CARLSON, 303 Highland, died at 7:30 a.m. today at the Briggs and Eskew Nursing home. He had been ill since July, 1959, and seriously ill since last Sunday.

Last rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Kerestly in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Oliver Leonard CARLSON, 63, was born Oct. 16, 1900, at Jefferson, Iowa, the son of Adolph and Edith BROBERG CARLSON. He was reared and educated in Jefferson county and was married July 31, 1918, at St. Louis to Mary Irene BAILEY.

He had been a resident of the Fairfield community for the past 12 years. He was a member of the Free Methodist church.

In addition to his wife CARLSON is survived by three sons: Oliver L. Jr., Denmark, Iowa; James F., St. Louis, Mo.; and Richard A., Davenport.

Also five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vincent KAISER, St. Louis; two brothers, Carl of Florissant, Mo., and Willard of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by one brother.

Monday Rites For CARLSON

Last rites for Oliver L. CARLSON, 63, 303 Highland, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond funeral home. Burial will be in Evergeen cemetery.

CARLSON died Friday at the Briggs-Eskew Nursing home. He was born and reared in Jefferson county. He had been a resident of Fairfield for 12 years.
