Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer CARLSON, 74, Indianola, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran church in Fairfield. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. CARLSON was a native of the Fairfield community. She died early Sunday in Indianola after a one-week illness. Services will also be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Peterson Funeral home in Indianola.
Mrs. CARLSON had been a resident of Indianola for seven years. She and her husband operated a hotel and sanitarium in Colfax for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Florence PICKETT, Des Moines; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Erma TYRRELL, Snohomish, Wash.; and Mrs. Agnes GRABER, East Moline, Ill.; and one brother, Cecil JOHNSON, West Bend, Wis.
