H. CARLSON dies at 98

Services will be Thursday for Hannah CARLSON, 98, former resident of Fairfield, who died at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Ottumwa Manor in Ottumwa where she had been a resident for a number of years (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

The services Thursday will be at 10 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Hannah CARLSON was born Feb. 29, 1880, at Varna, Ill. She was the daughter of Carl Emil and Christian (sic - Christina) Sophia OLSON CARLSON.

She lived most of her life in Fairfield and was educated in Jefferson County schools. She was employed at the Fair Store in Fairfield for a number of years, and was memeber of the First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews including Mrs. Charles McCLAIN, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
