Mrs. CANFIELD To Be Buried Here

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Kenneth E. CANFIELD, former Fairfield resident who died this morning in Los Angeles, Calif.

She suffered a heart attack two weeks ago and had been a patient in a hospital at Los Angeles since.

Mrs. CANFIELD is an aunt of Floyd and John LYNN of Fairfield. Mr. and Mrs Floyd LYNN were visiting at the CANFIELD home in Calif., when she passed away. She is a sister of Mrs. Harry LYNN.

The body is being returned to Fairfield for last rites and burial.

CANFIELD Funeral Will Be Saturday

Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Kenneth CANFIELD, former Fairfield resident who died Monday in Los Angeles, Calif.

The services will be held at the Hoskins Funeral home with Dr. J. Henry Teele in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

The body will arrive in Fairfield from California Saturday morning. Mrs. Edna Gladys (sic) CANFIELD was born July 6, 1896, the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Marion FRAZIER SALLADAY. She was united in marriage on Oct. 5, 1940, to Kenneth CANFIELD. The wedding took place at Las Vegas, Nev.

Mrs. CANFIELD passed away Monday morning in a hospital at Los Angeles after suffering a heart attack about two weeks ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Harry LYNN, Fairfield; one niece, Mrs. Herschel CARL, Fairfield; and three nephews, Floyd and John LYNN, Fairfield, and Darrell LYNN, Burlington.

VFW Auxiliary Will Attend CANFIELD Rites

All VFW auxiliary members are to meet at the Hoskins funeral home Saturday at 1:45 p.m. to attend services for Gladys CANFIELD in a body. Members are requested to wear their caps. Mrs. CANFIELD was a former past president of the local auxiliary.
