Will Return Body Here For Burial

Word has been received here of the death of Herbert CALDWELL, former Fairfield resident who passed away Saturday at El Paso, Texas. The word was received by his niece, Mrs. Ervin MITCHELL.

The body will be returned to Fairfield for burial, but no arrangements had been completed a noon today for last rites.

Mr. and Mrs. CALDWELL were residents of Fairfield for several years before returning to Texas about five years ago, their former home. He was a retired railroad worker.

Mr. CALDWELL is survived by his wife, one son and daughter; two nieces, Mrs. Ervin MITCHELL, Fairfield, and Mrs. Harold KNEDLER, Mt. Pleasant; and a nephew, Floyd SIMMONS, Des Moines.

CALDWELL Funeral To Be Friday Afternoon

Last rites will be held here Friday afternoon for Herbert CALDWELL, former resident of Fairfield who passed away last Saturday at El Paso, Texas.

The services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

The body arrived in Fairfield from El Paso today and was taken to the funeral home.
