Funeral Arrangements Are Pending Word From RelativesMrs. Valentine BYCZEK passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles McGUIRE, 1105 East Broadway, at 12:10 o'clock this morning following an illness of four months.
Funeral services are pending word from relatives. The body was taken to her home ,301 East Madison street.
Mrs. BYCZEK was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and one daughter. She is survived by the following children: Frank P., Mrs. John PANKIN and Mrs. Edward KASOWSKY of Chicago, Ill.; Wallace of Ojus, Fla.; Mrs. F. R. BROWN of Oakland Calif.; Phil, Edward and Mrs. McGUIRE of this city.

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Anna BYCZEK, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District court of the District court of Jefferson county, and that Friday, December 4, A. D. 1931 at 9 oclock a.m., it being the 17th day of November Term, 1931, of said court, has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

MRS. ANNA BYCZEK
Mrs. Anna BYCZEK died November 4, 1931 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. McGUIRE, 1105 E. Broadway at the age of 81 years, 4 months, 7 days.
Anna ZURICH (sic - ZMICH) was born in Poland and was just a baby when coming to America with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony ZURICH (sic - ZMICH). They resided in Pennsylvania for a good many years then came to Iowa, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Valuity (sic - Valenty) BYCZEK in January 1871, in Chicago, Ill. Three years later they moved on a farm near Germanville, Ia., where they resided for 40 years, later moved to a farm near Glasgow, where they lived for several years and then moved to Fairfield where Mrs. BYCZEK has spent her last 14 years. She was the mother of eleven children, with her husband, three preceded her in death. Mr. BYCZEK eight years ago, a daughter in infancy and two sons George and Joseph.
She is survived by eight children, Frank P. of Chicago; Wallace, Florida; Philip Edward of Fairfield; Mrs. F. R. BROWN, Oakland, calif.; Mrs. John PANKIN, Chicago; Mrs. Edward KASOWSKY, Chicago and Mrs. C. McGUIRE, Fairfield.
Funeral services were held from St. Mary's church Saturday morning at 8 oclock, Nov. 7 by Father Gaule. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
