DEATH CLAIMS WILLIAM BUSH

A life-time resident of Jefferson county passed away at the Jefferson county hospital about 6:40 a.m. this morning. He is William H. BUSH, 84, who died just 20 minutes after he was admitted to the hospital as a patient.

BUSH, a well known farmer who lived six miles east of Fairfield, had been in failing health for the past several months. He had lived in the Parsonsville community for the past 48 years.

Last rites will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

William H. BUSH was born May 13, 1864, in Jefferson county, Iowa, the son of the late David and Lucinda McCARTY BUSH. He was united in marriage to Millie EASTON on December 24, 1889. The wedding took place at Salina.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, C. G. BUSH and Glen D. BUSH, both of Fairfield. Also surviving are two brothers, Uriah BUSH, Fairfield; David BUSH, Fairfield; and a sister, Mrs. Mary LOONEY, Creston, Iowa.

BUSH was preceded in death by one son who died in infancy, two brothers and three sisters.
