C. G. BUSH, 81, Dies Suddenly

C.G. "Gurly" BUSH, 81, retired Fairfield automobile mechanic, was found dead this morning about 9 a.m. at his home, 304 W. Van Buren.

He had been in the garage business in Fairfield for 44 years before he retired in February, 1964.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

BUSH Rites Wednesday

Services for C. Gurly BUSH, 18 (sic - 81), retired auto mechanic, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

His body was found about 9 a.m. Monday at his home, 304 W. Van Buren. It is believed he died sometime Sunday.

C.G. BUSH retired from the auto repair business in February, 1964, after 44 years and in one location for 36 of those years.

He began his long career back in the days of the Hupmobile, the four-cylinder Elmore, the one-cylinder Bush and the air cooled Franklin. That was in 1920.

C. G. BUSH was born June 1, 1895, in Jefferson County, the son of William H. and Millie M. EASTON BUSH. He spent his entire life in the Fairfield community.

He was married April 8, 1917, to Theo M. GUMM. She died Sept. 4, 1959.

He is survived by one brother, Glen D. BUSH, Fairfield.
