LOCAL MISCELLANY.

... A son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. BURNETT, a babe of two months, died at Clayton, Ill., Friday. The parents brought the remains to this city, their former home, for interment. Funeral services were held Sabbath morning at the residence of William Day. Many old friends in Fairfield will extend their sympathies to the family in its bereavement.

... Last Friday morning at eleven o'clock occurred the death of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. BURNETT, formerly of this city, now of Clayton, Ill. The remains were brought to this city and buried from the home of Wm. Day Sunday morning at haft (sic) past eight. Rev. A. F. Marsh conducted a short service at the grave.
