Mrs. Jeanette BRYAN Dead; Had Lived In Fairfield Many YearsMrs. Jeanette BRYAN passed away Friday night at 8 oclock at the Jefferson county hospital, where she has been since last November, having been ill for many months. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the Methodist church in charge of the pastor, Dr. C. L. Tennant. Burial will bake place in Evergreen cemetery,.
Jeanette GOW was born in Hiland (sic - Highland) county, Ohio, July 18, 1843. When five years of age she came with her parents to Jefferson county where she resided most of her life. She was united in marriage to I. N. BRYAN February 20, 1862. He preceded her in death sixteen years ago (sic - in 1905). Seven children were born to this union, three having preceded her in death, John T., Eva L. and Bert B. Those surviving her are S. F. BRYAN of Independence, Kansas, A. R. BRYAN of Creston; Mrs. W. S. WEST of Clarks, Neb., and J. E. BRYAN of Los Angeles, California. Seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grand children also survive. She leaves three sisters: Mrs. George BRADFIELD of Abingdon; Mrs. Henry RIDER of this city and Mrs. Anna RILEY of Osceola, Nebraska.

The funeral services for Mrs. Jeanette BRYAN, who passed away Friday night at 8 oclock in the Jefferson County hospital after a long illness, was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the Methodist church, Dr. C. L. Tennant officiating. Burial took place in Evergreen cemetery. The pallbearers were: O. F. Fryer, Ed Fligg, Ray Maxwell, Sam P. Bell, J. W. Samuelson and C. C. Chidester. Mrs. C. M. Graham and Miss Ruby Garnett sang a duet.

Mrs. Jeannette BRYAN, eighty years of age, died Friday night at the county hospital where she has been ill for several months. She came to this county from Ohio in 1848, with her parents, and has been a continuous resident since. She was the widow of I. N. BRYAN, who died in 1906 (sic - 1905). Four children, living at distant points, survive her. Mrs. Henry RIDER of Fairfield, is one of three sisters surviving. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Methodist church.
