Stan BREWINGTON Rites Tuesday

Stanley R. BREWINGTON, retired plumber and longtime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 6:30 at his home, 104½ W. Burlington.

He had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill the past month.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with M. K. Long officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Stanley R. BREWINGTON, 86, was born Aug. 5, 1884, in Keosauqua, the son of Charles and Nancy PERRY BREWINGTON, and was reared and educated in Keokuk.

He moved to Fairfield with his family in November, 1904, and was married April 24, 1929, to Bonnie FLIGG BASHAM, who survives. The marriage took place in the Methodist Church Parsonage in Fairfield.

BREWINGTON retired in 1958 after being employed as a plumber with Pierson and Pierson for over 35 years.

In addition to his widow he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruby GOFF, Napa, Calif., along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
