A sad death was that of Mrs. R. C. BREWER, which occured at the home of her brother, J. R. THOMAS, in this city. Mrs. BREWER came here some weeks ago on a visit to friends. She had been suffering from consumption for some time, but her situation, was not considered critical. Soon she was taken seriously ill and died Thursday last. The funeral occurred from the First M. E. Church on Sunday, Rev. F. W. Evans officiating.
