Word has been received here of the death of Charles BRAWNER of West Branch who passed away yesterday. Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at the cross Lanes church. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. BRAWNER is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. John OFFINGER of West Branch with whom he and his wife made their home, a son, Galen, somewhere on the east coast, and a brother W. C. BRAWNER, 900 South Second.

BRAWNER, Deceased is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson County, and that Monday, January 29th A. D., 1945 at 9:30 o'clock a.m. has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Public Notice is Hereby Given:
That the undersigned have been appointed and commissioned by the District Court of Jefferson County, in the State of Iowa, executors of the estate of Charles L. BRAWNER, Deceased.
All persons having claims against said estate are hereby notified to file them with the Clerk of said court, clearly stated and duly sworn to, and within legal time, preparatory to their being allowed or proved, and persons owing said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and avoid costs.
