Mrs. J. C. BRADSHAW, native of Fairfield and a life-long resident of this community, passed away about 8:30 p.m. last night at Kansas City after an illness of several years.
Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist church with Dr. L. L. Weis in charge. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery. The body was brought from Kansas City to the Hoskins funeral home this afternoon.
Grace Jane BRADSHAW was born June 7, 1877, the daughter of the late Jacob E. and Margaret WILSON. She attended the Fairfield schools and was graduated from the Fairfield high school with the class of 1896.
On June 14, 1899, she was married to J. C. BRADSHAW who preceded her in death in December, 1940. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth, who passed away in May, 1922, and five brothers and one sister.
For many years Mrs. BRADSHAW took an active part in the Methodist church. She taught a Sunday school class for several years and was a member of the W.S.C.S. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Methodist church and the Woman's club.
She is survived by her son, Carroll W. BRADSHAW, Fairfield; and her daughter, Mary Margaret SMITH, Kansas City, and four grandchildren; Joan BRADSHAW SCOVEL, Cynthia SMITH, Bradshaw SMITH and Deborah SMITH.

Jefferson County, ss. )NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as Co-executors of the estate of Grace J. BRADSHAW deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment; and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time, duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the clerk of the District court.
