Page 3, Column 3J. W. BOWERMASTER DIED IN DAVENPORT.
J. W. BOWERMASTER died yesterday in a Davenport hospital. The remains will be brought to Fairfield today on Rock Island train No. 1, and the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank COOPER, on North Main street. Rev. A. H. Mosser will have charge of the services.

James Wilbert (sic) BOWERMASTER, son of Frederick and Katherine BOWERMASTER, was born in Trenton, Iowa, November 10th, 1861. He came with his parents to his county when a small boy, where he has since resided with the exception of two years spent in Wyoming.
Following the death of his mother on July 8th, 1912, he has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Frank COOPER, until several months ago, when he was taken to the sanitarium at Davenport.
He is survived by five brothers: Orrin and Lark of Cody, Wyo.; Frank of Ottumwa; Homer of Wichita, Kansas and John BOWERMASTER, of this city, and two sisiters (sic), Mrs. Frank COOPER and Mrs. Milton DOUGLAS, both of this city.
Following his death, which occurred in Davenport Sunday at noon, the remains were brought to this city to the COOPER home on North Main street, where the funeral will be held this afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. H. A. Mosser of the Presbyterian church, and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
