Page 3, Column 4Death of Mrs. BOOTH.
Mrs. Rachel BOOTH died at her home in the southwest part of the city Friday morning. Mrs. BOOTH was a native of Ohio and was seventy-seven years of age. She was married in 1847 to Isaac BOOTH (sic - Aaron BOOTH), who died here many years ago. The early part of her life was spent in Ohio and Illinois, but she had been a resident of Fairfield for over thirty years. The was the mother of three children, two of whom, J. P. BOOTH of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Susan BOOTH of Fairfield township, are living. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. E. Corley, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, of which denomination Mrs. BOOTH had long been a member. Burial was made in the Evergreen cemetery.

Page 4, Column 2Mrs. Rachel BOOTH died at her home in the southwest part of this city last Friday afternoon. She had been ill for several months. She was about 77 years of age. Funeral services were held from the residence Sabbath afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Corley, pastor of the M. E. church.
