OBITUARY

SADIE BOOS

Miss Sadie BOOS was the daughter of John and Louise BOOS and was born July 20, 1871, near Four corners, Iowa. She was baptized in infancy and confirmed in youth in the Lutheran church at Four Corners. After coming to Fairfield more than forty years ago, she became identified with this church. There she worshiped, there she served, there she communed throughout the years.

She belonged to a family of five sisters and five brothers. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death, being George, William and Jacob, and Katie. The following brothers and sisters survive to mourn her passing, Mary, Mrs. Anna KELTNER of Fairfield, and Mrs. Louise RUPP of Lockridge, and John and Louie of Lockridge.

Death came to her very suddenly Sunday evening, Sept. 18, 1938, at the home of a friend, William Smith, in Fort Madison, Ia. She was 67 years, 1 month and 28 days old. Burial was in Fairfield, on Sept. 20, 1938, in Evergreen cemetery.
