BONNETT Rites Will Be Tuesday

LIBERTYVILLE -- Mrs. Edward BONNETT, 88, long-time resident of the Libertyville community, died at 6:45 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield where she had been a patient for the past ten weeks.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ora May BONNETT was born July 26, 1878, in Wayne County, Iowa, the daughter of Charles C. and Caroline KERR HUDSON. She was married to Edward BONNETT on Dec. 26, 1899, at Seymour, Iowa. She had lived in Jefferson County most all of her life. Mrs. BONNETT was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by the following children: John, Libertyville; Mrs. Ercel FRY, Mindon, Mo.; Mrs. Myrtle CARMICHAEL, Fairfield; Carl, Birmingham; Birdie BONNETT, Libertyville; Edward, Birmingham; Russell, Libertyville; and Raymond, Fairfield. Twenty grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. BONNETT was preceded in death by her husband who died on Feb. 25, 1949; one son, three brothers, two sisters and three great-grandchildren.
