MRS. JOSEPH D. BONAR

FAIRFIELD Mrs. Joseph D. BONAR, 94, who lived at 501 South Sixth street, died at 11 p.m. June 29 in the Curtis nursing home.

Death terminated a three-year illness.

Lillial (sic - Lillian) B. BATCHELDER, daughter of Joseph M. and Harriett GEARHART BATCHCHELDER (sic), was born at Albia on March 28, 1859, and was married to Joseph D. BONAR at Osborne, Kan., on June 30, 1886. He died in September, 1909 (sic - Sept. 16, 1908).

Mrs. BONAR had been a resident of Fairfield since that year.

Surviving are a daughter, Jean BONAR, librarian at the womens reformatory at Rockwell City, and two nephews.

Services will be held at the Hoskins funeral home at 10:30 Thursday morning. Officiating will be Dr. Curtis R. Douglass, pastor of First Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. BONAR was a member.

Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
