The remains of Joseph C. BONAR (sic - Joseph D. BONAR), who passed away Wednesday morning at his home in Havanna, Mo., arrived last evening at 8 o'clock and were taken to the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. BATCHELDER, on North Third street.
The funeral was held this afternoon at two o'lock (sic). Rev. W. F. Jones conducted the last services and the mortal remains were laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery,.
Mr. BONAR was known to a number of Fairfield people When a young man he married a daughter of Mrs. BATCHELDER of this city. His death was due to Bright's disease from which he had suffered for several years He was about 62 years of age and was highly esteemed and respected by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter to whom a large circle of friends are extending their sympathies.

BONAR (sic), whose death occurred in Missouri, were received in this city last Thursday evening and the funeral was held the following afternoon, interment being made in Evergreen cemetery. Deceased is a son-in-law of Mrs. BATCHELDER of this city. He is survived by a wife and one child. Death was due to Bright's disease.
