RONALD "REX" TEDROW
Libertyville

Ronald "Rex" TEDROW, 86, of Libertyville, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020.

Open visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Behner Funeral Home. Family will be present at this time.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Pastors Danny Cary and Phil Campbell officiating.

A memorial has been established and cards can be mailed to Tim TEDROW, 2391 Marigold Blvd., Fairfield, IA 52556.

Rex was born April 2, 1934, in Des Moines Township, (south of Libertyville) to Rayburn and Vermith (FERREL) TEDROW. He married Karen HAAS on September 2, 1962, in Fairfield, Iowa.

Rex worked as a veterinary assistant and sheared sheep for numerous years. He worked at Rockwell, Falco and Dexter. Rex was a lifelong farmer, did a lot of custom hay baling and raised livestock. He enjoyed hunting, listening to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash music and loved history. Rex also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Rex will be greatly missed by several, but especially by his children, Tim (Mary) TEDROW of Fairfield, Jolene (Mark STEELE) of Libertyville, Iowa, Marie (Jake SANER) of Douds, Iowa, Korkee TEDROW of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, James (Amanda) TEDROW of Libertyville, Iowa; 26 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his brother, Glen (Earla Jean) TEDROW; and sister, Judy FISHER of Kansas City, Kansas.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, Rayburn TEDROW and Vermith REED; brother, Gerald TEDROW; and wife, Karen.
