BIDDLE Funeral Tuesday Morning

Mrs. Mary BIDDLE, long-time resident of the Fairfield community, died about 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Salina, Kansas, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph REED.

She went to Kansas to make her home in September, 1966. Prior to that her home was at 803 W. Broadway for a number of years.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The casket arrived at the funeral home this morning from Kansas.

Mrs. Mary BIDDLE was born Oct. 15, 1875, in a log cabin near Merrimac. She was married March 8, 1899, to Sidney T. BIDDLE who died Sept. 14, 1928.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Fairfield and a 70-year member of Hawkeye Rebekah Lodge No. 386.

Mrs. BIDDLE is survived by her daughter, Mrs. REED; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County
In The Matter Of The Estate of Mary BIDDLE, Deceased.

Too All Persons Interested In The Estate of Mary BIDDLE, Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 16th day of July, 1968, the last will and testament of Mary BIDDLE, deceased bearing date of the 2nd day of September, 1959, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Evelyn REED was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of his notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
