SAM P. BELL, 78, IS DEAD
Services to be Saturday at 2 p.m., Fairfield resident 40 years

Sam P. BELL, 78, well-known Fairfield resident, passed away at 8 a.m. today at the Jefferson county hospital where he had been the past two weeks. He resided at 307 W. Hempstead.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. S. P. Williamson. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. BELL was born in Iowa on April 17, 1861. He had been a resident of Fairfield for the last 40 years.

He is survived by two sons, Ed C. BELL and A. I. BELL, both of Fairfield; a sister, Mrs. Mary A. DAVIDSON of Fairfield and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wife passed away on Nov. 5, 1926.
