Eddie BELL, 85, Taken In Death

Eddie C. BELL, 85 307 W. Hempstead, died Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. at Henry County Memorial Hospital in Mount Pleasant. He had been a patient there since Feb. 17.

Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. N. C. Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BELL was born Aug. 20, 1881 in Jefferson County, the son of Samuel and Ida PIERCE BELL. He was reared and educated in this county.

BELL was married to Lillie Belle HARPER Sept. 1, 1910. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Delbert SINGLETON and Bruce BELL, both of Fairfield. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

BELL was preceded in death by his wife and one brother. He was the last surviving charter member of the Fairfield Eagles Lodge (sic - Club/Aerie).
