BELDING Rites To Be Saturday

Mrs. Charles BELDING, resident of Fairfield for over 80 years, died Wednesday morning, New Years Day, at the Nelson Nursing home. Her death came at 7 a.m.

She had been in failing health for the past year and had been a patient at the nursing home for the past several weeks.

Last rites have been tentatively set for Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. Ned C. Gillum in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Luthera BALDING, 93, was born Aug. 14, 1870, at Douds-Leando in Van Buren county. She was the daughter of Henry and Caroline STOFFEL BACON.

She was reared and educated in Fairfield and was married Feb. 2, 1902, to Charles BELDING who preceded her in death in 1924. Mrs. BELDING was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Christian church.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Erie SHRINER, Fairfield, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Angela PERLEY, Santa Barbara, Calif.
