FRANK BEATTY HEAT VICTIM
Former Local Man Dies at East Moline, Ill., This Morning

Frank A. BEATTY, 65, former Fairfield man, passed away at East Moline, Ill., at 10:15 a.m. today, a victim of heat prostration.

Mr. BEATTY was overcome yesterday while working in the Rock Island shops at Silvis, Ill.

Surviving are his wife, the former Lucy RUMER of Fairfield, two sons and a daughter. Mrs. S. L. MACHESNEY of Fairfield and Mrs. M. C. RENSHAW of Des Moines are sisters of the deceased man.

Mr. BEATTY was a son of the late D. R. and Clara F. BEATTY. He was in business here for a time with his father. He was born Jan. 14, 1872, and was married June 1, 1898.

Burial will be in Fairfield, Mrs. MACHESNEY said this morning.

The family requested today that no flowers be sent.

BEATTY Services At Grave Here., 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Brief funeral services for the late Frank BEATTY, former Fairfield man who passed away at East Moline, Ill., yesterday, will be held at the grave in Evergreen cemetery here at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The funeral will be held in East Moline at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Following the services, the body will be brought to Fairfield for burial. Dr. Gilbert Voorhies, pastor of the Fairfield Presbyterian church, will be in charge of services at the grave.
