Mrs. BASHAM Dies Today

Mrs. Frank BASHAM, 89, died at 7:30 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George CONSBROCK, 331 Avenue E.

Mrs. BASHAM and her husband, who survives, were Fort Madison's longest married couple. Mr. and Mrs. BASHAM observed their 71st wedding anniversary last Oct. 23.

Mrs. BASHAM was born June 11, 1866, at Mt. Pleasant, but spent most of her life in Fairfield. The BASHAMs were married Oct. 23, 1884, at Mt. Pleasant. For several years the BASHAMs have made their home with their daughter, Mrs. CONSBROCK.

Besides her husband and Mrs. CONSBROCK, the deceased is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. W. E. BROWER, Topeka, Kan., and Mrs. Harry COOK, Fairfield; and a son, James BASHAM, Floris, Iowa. Two grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

Funeral at Fairfield

The body was taken to the Bienner (sic - Behner) Funeral Home at Fairfield today. Final rites will be held there at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Douglas (sic - Douglass), Fairfield, will officiate. Burial will be at Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD--Mrs. Frank BASHAM died at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 8 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George CONSBROCK, at Fort Madison.

The body was brought to the Weston Behner funeral home, in Fairfield.

Mrs. Frank BASHAM

FAIRFIELD -- Services for Mrs. Frank BASHAM, 90, who died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George CONSBROCK of Fort Madison, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Weston Behner funeral home. Officiating will be Dr. Curtis R. Douglass, pastor of Frist Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. BASHAM and her husband celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary last Oct. 23.

Also surviving are a son and two other daughters: James CONSBROCK (sic - James BASHAM), Mount Pleasant; Mrs. W. E. BOWER (sic - BROWER), Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Harry COOK of Fairfield, and a brother and asister (sic), Martin DOUGHERTY and Mrs. Mary HOLLEY, both of Mount Pleasant.
