LOUIS BARROW DIED LAST NIGHT
Native of England and Prominent Resident of Hardscrabble Community

Louis BARROW, a prominent citizen of the Hardscrabble community, died last night at 7 o clock at his home 4½ miles northwest of Fairfield after an illness of six weeks of typhoid fever.

Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow morning at 11 oclock and will be conducted by Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. ARROW was born in Othan, Maidstone, Kent, England, January 27, 1863 and came to this country and to Jefferson county when he was 22 years old. For seven years he worked at the County farm and then acquire a farm of his own, the old John Williamson place in Hardscrabble.

He married Miss Laura BOOTH Mar. 4, 1891 and to them three children were born two dying in infancy. The widow and one son survive. This son, Charles H. BARROW, lives a miles west of the old home place.

Mr. BARROW was a man highly respected by his neighbors, quiet and industrious and of sound judgment, always to be depended upon in any matter that engaged his cooperation.

LAST RITES FOR LOUIS BARROW
Services Conducted By Rev. R. H. Polly; Interment at Evergreen Cemetery

Funeral services for Louis BARROW were held yesterday morning at 11 o'clock from the home, four and one-half miles northwest of this city in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church. The following men served as pallbearers:

Joseph WILSON, John COPELAND, Ed. BATES, Frank BOOTH, Ed NEISWANGER and Joe SHELTON.

Mrs. Frank Pierson and Mrs. Arthur Greef sand, "Saved By Grace," and "No Night There." Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.

OBITUARY

Louis BARROW

Louis BARROW was born in Otham, Maidstone, Kent, England, January 27, 1863, and departed this life at his home four miles northwest of Fairfield, Iowa January 20, 1926 after an illness of five weeks.

At the age of 22 he came to this country and settled near Fairfield where he spent his remaining years.

On March 4, 1891, he married Laura BOOTH. To this union were born three children, two dying in infancy. The widow and one son, Charles H. survive, also four sisters, two brothers and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held from the home Friday forenoon at eleven oclock, in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
