DEATH TAKES MRS. BARNETT

Mrs. Myra BARNETT, 80, longtime resident of Fairfield, passed away Saturday evening at 10:15 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital after a serious illness the past few weeks.

Last rites will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. BARNETT was born May 2, 1866, at Abingdon, Illinois, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. B. (sic - Benjamin H.) GARDNER. She was united in marriage to Emmett T. BARNETT on January 9, 1883, who preceded her in death in 1939.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harold McNEESE, Fairfield, and a son, Elmer T. BARNETT, Phoenix, Arizona.
