Funeral Notice.

John E. BARNETT died at 6 p.m. Sunday, on West Kirkwood street in the second ward, age 75 years, 2 months and 28 days.

Funeral will be held at the house Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Behner of the Free Methodist church.

Death of John E. BARNETT.

John E. BARNETT, a resident of this city for several years, died the 8th inst. and his body was interred in the city cemetery Tuesday (sic - Evergreen Cemetery). He was born at Newcastle, Ind., January 10th, 1831, and was married to Hannah Louisa HAWTHORN March 11th, 1858. The wife, a son and two daughters--Arthur BARNETT, Eli HARPER of this city and Mrs. Charles DARNELL of Brighton--survive him. He also had seven grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. The Brighton Enterprise, whose editor had known Mr. BARNETT for many years when a resident of that place, says "he was an upright man and leaves many friends who are sorry to learn of his death." Rev. F. C. Behner of the Free Methodist church conducted the funeral services.
