MRS. BARNES PASSES AWAY
Prominent in activities; had suffered heart attack

Mrs. Milo K. BARNES, 607 South Main, passed away Sunday evening at 9:25 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital. She was 66 years of age.

Mrs. BARNES suffered a heart attack on Nov. 12 and was taken to the hospital only last Saturday night.

She is survived by her husband, Milo, superintendent of the cotton flannel department of the Fairfield Glove and Mitten company; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda GARBER and Mrs. Keith PRIZER, both of Fairfield, and by a grandson, Don GARBER of Fairfield.

Mrs. BARNES was a prominent resident of Fairfield for the last 31 years. She was an active member of the Women's Relief Corps, Rebekah Lodge and of the First Methodist church.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of Dr. M. A. Gable. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
