Rites Saturday For Harry BALL

Harry I. BALL, 88, native of Jefferson County and former well known livestock buyer, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

He had entered the hospital a short time before from the Fairfield Convolescent (sic) Home where he had been a patient for the past several months.

Last rites will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Harry I. BALL was born Nov. 5, 1880, in Jefferson County, the son of George W. and Margaret LAUGHLIN BALL. He was reared and educated in Jefferson County and was a retired farmer and cattleman.

On June 24, 1906, he was married to C. Winnifred TRACY at Brookville. She preceded him in death on Oct. 17, 1960. BALL was a member of the Methodist Church and the Fairfield Elks.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. R. D. HUNT, Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son who died in infancy and four brothers.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County
In The Matter Of The Estate Of Harry I. BALL, Deceased.

You are hereby notified that on the 4th day of March, 1969, the last will and testament of Harry I. BALL deceased bearing date of the 10th day of February, 1969, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Tom HUNT was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that all action to set aside said will must be brought in the district court of said county within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
