Rites Thursday For Mrs. BALL

Mrs. Harry I. BALL, 806 N. Fourth street, passed away about 11 p.m. Monday at the home of Mrs. W. N. BALL, 901 S. Main street where she had been cared for for the past several months.

She had been in failing health for the past two years but her death was sudden and unexpected.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. J. Roland Crandall in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Carrie Winnifred TRACY BALL, 80, was a life-time resident of Jefferson county. She was born June 28, 1860, at Brookville in Jefferson county, the daughter of Marion and Alice ELLER TRACY.

She was reared and educated in the Brookville community and was married June 24, 1906, at Brookville to Harry I. BALL. Mrs. BALL, a member of the Methodist church, lived her entire life in the county and was a resident of Fairfield for the past 50 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother, Frank W. TRACY, Ramona, Calif., along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. BALL was preceded in death by a son who died in infancy, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
