HENRY A. BAKER DIED LAST NIGHT
Funeral Services Will Be Held Tomorrow Afternoon At 1:30 O'clock

Henry A. BAKER of the West End Addition passed away last evening at 6:10 oclock at the Jefferson county hospital after only a week's illness with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 oclock in charge of Dr. T. F. Cooke of the Baptist church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. BAKER was born at Oat Mills, Kans., June 25, 1885 and has been a resident of this city for the past 18 years. He is survived by his wife and four children at home, Edith, Naomi, Leona and Junior. His mother, Mrs. James RAMBO of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Julia DANIELS of Los Angeles and Mrs. Anna BAILEY of Eagle Butte, S. D., also remain.

BAKER FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY
At the Hoskins Funeral Home Conducted by Dr. T. F. Cooke; Burial Evergreen

Funeral services for Henry A. BAKER were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 oclock at Hoskins Funeral home conducted by Dr. T. F. Cooke, pastor of the Baptist church. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.

The pall bearers were Glen Chezum, Peter Manley, Loren Garrison, Fred Malney (sic - Manley), James Delph, George Manley. Miss Mary A. Stever, accompanied on the piano by Miss Hannah Van Nostrand, sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Sometime We'll Understand."

OBITUARY

HENRY ASA BAKER

Henry Asa BAKER was born June 25, 1885 near Oak Mills, Kansas and passed to his reward May 17, 1928, at the Jefferson county hospital at Fairfield, death being caused by the terrible malady called pneumonia, he having been sick only a week.

He was united in marriage to Hazel HUPP, June 26, 1910 and to this union were born seven children four living and three preceding him in death.

Besides his wife and three daughters and one son namely, Edith, Mae, Leona and Junior, he leaves an aged mother, step-father, two sisters, two step-brothers and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors.

He was a kind a loving husband and father ever looking forward to the welfare of his family. He had been employed at the Malleable Iron Works from 10 to 12 years and was employed there before his sickness.

Funeral services were conducted from the Hoskins Funeral Home by Rev. T. F. Cooke of the Baptist church and interment in the Evergreen cemetery.

The pall bearers were neighbors of the family namely Glen Chezum, Loven Garrison, James Delph, Fred, George and Pete Manley.
