MRS. CHAS. BAIRD PASSED AWAY TODAY.

Mrs. Charles BAIRD passed away at the Jefferson county hospital this morning. She had been in poor health for several months and several weeks ago she was taken to the Jefferson county hospital suffering from a complication of diseases. Although in a critical condition, an operation was thought advisable this morning.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Rupert, who is at the Great Lakes Training School, Chicago (sic - Waukegan, IL).

No arrangements have been made for the funeral until the arrival of the son.

FUNERAL OF MRS. BAIRD HELD SUNDAY

The funeral services for Mrs. Chas. BAIRD who passed away Friday morning at the Jefferson county hospital, were held yesterday afternoon from the Christian church in charge of Rev. R. H.P olly (sic) and was attended by a large number of her friends.

Abbie SANDERSON was born near Savannah, Iowa, March 3rd, 1876, and passed away April 5th, 1918, at the age of forty-two years, one month and two days. She was united in marriage to Charles BAIRD of Bloomfield, on March 24th, 1898. One child, Rupert, was born to this union. He is now in the Great Lakes Training School at Chicago.

She was united with the Christian church when she was a young girl and has lived a faithful Christian life since. Besides her husband and son she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Eva TRANSCHEL (sic - TRACHSEL) of Bloomfield, and Mrs. Frona QUICK of Mt. Vernon, Washington and three brothers, Eugene of Eugene, Wash ; A. E. SANDERSON of Syracuse, N. Y.; and C .F SANDERSON of Gooding, Idaho, and a half-brother, J. P. ONSKEEP (sic - INSKEEP), of Peoria, Ill., and a host of friends.
