E. R. ARMSTRONG Taken In Death

Elmer R. ARMSTRONG, 77, 908 N. Tenth St., passed away at the Jefferson County Hospital Thursday morning, Nov. 23, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

He was born December 20, 1894 at Batavia the son of Robert and Sarah SHEETS ARMSTRONG. He came to Fairfield in April, 19667 from Chicago, Ill., where he spent most of his life. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and served in World War I.

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Albert SAUER of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In /and For Jefferson County
In The Matter Of The Estate Of Elmer R. ARMSTRONG, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Elmer R. ARMSTRONG, Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 29th day of November, 1972 the Last Will and Testament of Elmer R. ARMSTRONG deceased bearing date of the 22nd day of September, 1970, was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that Paul D. Winfrey was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
