Mabel C. ANGSTEAD, 75, resident at the Parkview Care Center, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ottumwa Hospital in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).
Services for Mrs. ANGSTEAD are pending at the Raymond Funeral Home.
Mabel C. ANGSTEAD was born June 26, 1907. She was the daughter of Burdette and Gertrude DICKINSON SINGLETON.
Six children survive. they are Delmar ANGSTEAD, Fairfield; Mrs. James HOSKINS and Mrs. Bert LITTON, both of Lockridge; Mrs. Donald SIMONS, Fairfield; Mrs. Dale CLINE, East Moline, Ill.; and Mrs. Harold GIBERSON, Stockport.

Services for Mabel Clara ANGSTEAD, 75, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. James Battey and Wes Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. with evening (sic) at the Raymond Funeral Home.
Mabel Clara ANGSTEAD, a resident at Parkview Care Center, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ottumwa Hospital.
She was born June 26, 1907, near Germanville, the daughter of Burdette and Gertrude DICKINSON SINGLETON. She was married Nov. 16, 1926, to Edward C. ANGSTEAD. He preceded his wife in death.
Survivors include one son, Delmar ANGSTEAD, Fairfield; five daughters, Mrs. James HOSKINS and Barbara LITTON, both of Lockridge; Mrs. Donald SIMONS, Fairfield; Mrs. Dale CLINE, East Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Harold GIBERSON, Stockport; 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Jessie WRIGHT, Fairfield.
Mrs. ANGSTEAD was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter and a brother.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge. Except for a few years spent in Long Beach, Calif., and East Moline, she spent most of her life in Jefferson County and Fairfield.
