Our Latest News of Woodhull and Vicinity

AGED RESIDENT DIES.

Nels Peter ANDERSON, 84, died at his home in Woodhull at 5 o'clock Tuesday night. He became ill Monday night suffering with a heart ailment.

He was born in Kalmar Lan, Sweden, May 30, 1853, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter ANDERSON, and came to the United States when a young man. He married Miss Louise PETERSON (sic - LARSON) January 10, 1890, at Altona. They moved to Fairfield, Iowa, in 1911 and seven years later moved back to Woodhull, where they resided on a farm for awhile, later moving to Woodhull. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary January 10, 1935.

Surviving are the widow; three sons, Arthur, of Burlington; Albert and Glenn, of Woodhull; two daughters, Mrs. Laura HESTON, of Fairfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Dora ROSS, of Greenfield, Iowa; two sons preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning and burial will be in Fairfield, Iowa.
