Alan L. Diehl, 74, died Sunday, April 10, 2005, at St. John's Hospital in Aurora, Mo.

A memorial service will be Saturday at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center. Dinner will be served at noon with Masonic Rites at 1:30 p.m. The service is open to all family and friends.

Mr. Diehl was born June 5, 1930, in Fairfield, the son of Carl and Ruth Jacobs Diehl.

He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1948.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Diehl of Independence, Mo.; one son, Jeffrey Diehl and wife Polly of Aurora; one brother, Richard Diehl of Fairfield; and one sister, Marjorie Worley of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mark Diehl; and one brother, Darrell Diehl.
