FAIRFIELD GIRL DIES IN WEST
Mrs. H. L. ANDERSON, Formerly Marie MORRISON Passed Away Yesterday

Mrs. H.L. ANDERSON, formerly Marie MORRISON of this city died at her home in Oklahoma City, yesterday, according to word received here by her sister, Mrs. George GOEKE. The body will arrive Friday night, and funeral arrengements will be made later.

Marie MORRISON was born in Des Moines county, June 21, 1895, and came to Fairfield as a very small child. She attended the schools here and after graduating from the Fairfield High school spent two years at Milwaukee Downer school, and then concluded her studies at the state university of Iowa. She left Fairfield about three years ago.

The decedent is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Emma F. MORRISON of Oklahoma City ;two sisters Mrs. George GOEKE of Fairfield and Claribel MORRISON of Des Moines; and three brothers, Oliver S. of Fairfield, and Edmund D. and George F., of Washington, Iowa.

OBITUARY

MRS. HOWARD L. ANDERSON

Mabel Marie MORRISON, daughter of Fisher and Emma F. MORRISON, was born in Des Moines county, Iowa, June 21, 1895, and departed this life March 28, 1922, after an illness of three months' duration of leakage of the heart.

When a small child, she moved with her parents to Fairfield, Iowa, where she received her education in the public schools, graduating from the high school with the class of 1914.

The following two years she spent at Milwaukee-Downer college, after which she attended the State University at Iowa City. While here she became a member of the Alpha Ki Delta sorority and also of the Jessamine Chapter No .135 (sic), Order of the Eastern Star.

On September 21, 1918, she was united in marriage with Dr. Howard Lessing ANDERSON of Washington, Ia.

The following spring they moved to Oklahoma City, Okla., where they resided until the time of her death.

When a young girl, she became a member of the First M .E. (sic) church, at Fairfield, from which she transferred her membership to the First Presbyterian church in Oklahoma City. She was a faithful worker, a teacher in the Sunday school and a member of the Young Women's Study club.

She was preceded in death by her father ,a sister, and an infant daughter (sic).

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Dr. H. L. ANDERSON, of Oklahoma City ,Okla., her mother, Mrs. Emma F. MORRISON, her sister, Mrs. George G. GOEKE, and brother, Oliver S. MORRISON, all of Fairfield, a sister, Clara Belle MORRISON of Des Moines, and two brothers, Edmund D. and George F. MORRISON of Washington, Iowa, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
