Page 2, Column 1JOHN A. ANDERSON FUNERAL IS HELD THIS AFTERNOON
Funeral services for the late John A. ANDERSON will be held at 2:30 this afternoon from the residence, about three miles north of the city, in charge of Rev. Samuelson of Lockridge. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
John Alfred ANDERSON was born inSweden (sic) on January 7th, 1854, and died Sept. 1st, 1919, at his home north of the city. He came to America in 1880 and had since made his home in Jefferson county. On Marcn (sic) 19th, 1880, he was united in marriage with Miss Anna BENGSTON. To this union were born seven children two of whom preceeded their father in death. Mr. ANDERSON was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church(.)
He leaves to mourn his death his wife and five children, Axel ANDERSON of Wisconsin, Arthur in service with the First division, Mrs. Ellen SUZANWITS of East Moline, Ill., and Raymond and Evelyn at home. He has two brothers, Andrew of this city and Herman of Ottumwa.

IMPLEMENTS, ETC.--John Deere riding cultivator, walking cultivator, disc, harrow, corn planter, 14-inch walking plow, Milwaukee mower, McCormick hay rake, low wheel wagon, Case corn planter, Deere hay loader, seeder, hay rack, 2 buggies, cart. set work harness, set single harness, set fly nets, 50 gallon kerosene tank, heating stove, kitchen wood stove, kerosene stove, folding bed, dresser, and many other articles.TERMS MADE KNOWN ON DAY OF SALE.
